Description

Designed by Ron Arad, Do-Lo-Rez is the combination of two pieces—a rug and a sofa—conceived as a single element. Created together, they form an unusual project that bridges the virtual and real worlds.

Its name comes from the expression “do low resolution,” and the idea came to him while looking at a pixelated, low-resolution image, which he has brought to life through a three-dimensional surface. The rug is crafted using the hand-tufting technique, with each square tufted to a different height than its adjacent one.
